So far so good! Take Two announced on a conference call today they are on schedule for release "between Feb. and Mar. of 2008." Both the PS3 and 360 will be released same day with the 360 getting exclusive Down Loadable Content. Unfortunately, the Wii will not be seeing GTA IV. No mention of the PC version.

After repeated questioning regarding a specific release date for the game, a Take-Two executive responded, "We'll announce the date when we're ready to announce the date."

Though Grand Theft Auto IV will arrive at the same time on both platforms, the company noted it will be providing the Xbox 360 version of the game will with additional downloadable content beyond the 2008 fiscal year. This includes the Xbox 360-only DLC previously announced.

The executives also noted that the game has received an M16+ rating in Australia, based on a rating package that included documentation and gameplay footage--"everything you'd expect," the representative commented.

As far as the Wii goes, a question about the possibility of Grand Theft Auto on the Wii led to an apparent denial. "No disrespect," the company responded, "[but] I think there are other titles better suited for the [Wii] than Grand Theft Auto 4."

Awesome. Can't wait for this shit! I laugh at the notion of Nintendo thinking they will ever get GTA4.

Well I think that a lot of "family oriented" people have the Wii, don't you? So it makes sense on the PS3 and 360, I wonder why no mention of the PC version?

Rockstar usually keep quite about a PC version because they don't want to commit to anything. As you may have noticed, even reading the first paragraph of the article, Rockstar never commit themselves to anything subject to change. They keep us uninformed until they feel they want to let us on. Which is why they keep settings secret for so long.

There will be a PC version though, probably out around a year after the console versions.

It's slightly worrying that they still refuse to announce any official date. Are they expecting another delay or something??

Off topic but is anyone having trouble getting on to Neo? I keep getting the 'Servers are busy' message whenever I try to go to Neo. Anyone else experiencing this?

Yeah me too. Neo must be busy. I am happy to know that the game is at least going to be Feb. or Mar. I don't think it will be delayed beyond March.

I wish it hadn't been delayed. I'd be playing the living *bleep* out of it right now.

The closer it comes, the less excited I am about the same sandbox gameplay I've been playing for half a decade.

GTA simply does not belong on Nintendo due to the age target differences. It would be strange tbh. Besides that, good to hear things are looking up.

Poor article to be honest, Australia's game ratings only reach MA15+... Other than that, good to hear everything is on track.
