Sensible World of Soccer given XBLA red card!

mistermostyn | December 19, 2007 | News | XBOX 360
Popular arcade soccer game Sensible World of Soccer has been yanked from Xbox Live Arcade just hours after its appearance following reports of gameplay crippling.
No sooner had Codemasters’ Sensible World of Soccer taken to the Xbox Live Arcade pitch this Wednesday than the referee quickly abandoned the game after players were seen to be tumbling over huge gameplay divots sticking up all over the online field.

Dragged from the dressing room by the manager (in this case Microsoft), Sensible World of Soccer managed only a few hours on the Marketplace before chants regarding an annoying glitch began raining down from the stands. More pointedly, the bug in question saw players inadvertently signed out of Xbox Live and then unable to sign back in again without first returning to the Xbox 360 dashboard.
