With the
Duke Nukem Forever teaser trailer being released only a few days ago, it's a little surprising that in-depth analyses of the one-minute long video have already begun popping up on gaming websites ...

Everyone loves Christmas presents and 3D Realms have delivered dutifully. Out of nowhere, (early this morning) the developers behind the ever elusive Duke Nukem Forever title stated that today would see a teaser trailer. Posted with the news was a rendered shot of Duke and it sent the internet into overload, so much so that their official website has been up and down the past two days. A few hours ago saw the release of the trailer and you can see it here. There’s a lot more than meets the eye and we’ve digested every part of it to bring you a well thought analysis. Lock and Load, because the king is back.
The Duke footage is 100% in-game, IN-Engine footage. The fact that people think it's rendered is cool but the tech team deserves the props on this one.
We’re treated to a glimpse of an old friend, a Pigcop roaring with dead, mutilated bodies surrounding him. Roaring at the camera we flick back to the Duke scene, the music increasing in density and tempo. An unknown enemy then appears on screen, a lengthy snake-like being, in which can only be described as a sewer. The movement is grotesque as it flings around, bearing its sharp teeth. Living up to its name, a teaser trailer, that’s the most it shows, enough for speculation and description but no hard facts.
We’re given a final view of Duke, standing, cracking his knuckles. He blows smoke at the camera and the timeless theme blares out in full effect. Fading to black, the old-school radioactive symbol appears and we’re given a ripped American flag and the logo. The trailer closes with the usual wit of Duke; “I’m looking for some alien toilet to park my bricks, who’s first?” The trademark humour is there, the enemies are there, some new, some old and the music is there. 3D realms have definitely teased us, and we’re dying for more information. 10 years in development is a ludicrous time period for development, but is 2008 finally going to be the Duke’s year.

I just hope that it comes out on the 360...cause if it is on the PS3 or PC and not 360 then well...I'd be in a lot of trouble. My PC probably would be able to run it but not too smoothly at max everything and I don't own or plan to own a PS3 anytime soon.
Can't wait!
EDIT Opps Forgot it was on the Wii I though i saw PC in there, my bad.
