Eidos has recently announced the street date for their co-op FPS Conflict: Denied Ops. The game will hit store shelves on February 12th 2008. The game is the fifth 'Conflict' title and will be released on next-gen consoles and the pc. GamingShogun also has a trailer for the game on the source page.

The 'co-op shooter is in the same vein as Army of Two and Edios' (controversial) Kane & Lynch. It will be the fifth game in the 'Conflict' series, and is touted as allowing players to 'seamlessly' switch between the two characters while at the same time while destroying almost everything they can see, using Pivotal's new Puncture Technology.

Looks kinda cool. Wonder if the Puncture Technology is scripted to certain objects or if the destruction is random? Might have to do some research on it.

Check it out here sort, looks kind of cool. A deadlier version of Geo-Mod that also includes objects.

Thanks for the link. I had read that article and a few others but all I'm getting is this description.

      quote
Making full use of Pivotal’s new Puncture Technology™, Conflict: Denied Ops features a highly destructible environment, allowing players to utilize new tactics such as shooting through walls to create sniping holes or blasting open new paths to take the enemy by surprise.
Guess I'll just have to wait and rent it to find out.

Not bad. I personally enjoyed Kane & Lynch, though they did use the 'F' word a bit too much. Let's hope that we get a better aiming format, though.
