More Guns, More Swords, More Attitude - Red Steel 2 Officially Confirmed

twilightprince | December 21, 2007 | News | Wii
"More Guns, More Swords, More Attitude." Yep, that's right. Red Steel 2, the sequel to one of Wii's hottest launch titles, was confirmed by Ubisoft in the Official Nintendo Magazine.

The title boasts better controls, better AI, better graphics, better multiplayer, and best of all, online play!
Official Nintendo Magazine has today finally announced in their latest issue, that Red Steel has officially got a sequel. Called "Ubisoft's worst kept secret", they could finally tell readers that the game had been in development for almost a year.

Sadly, there wasn't any screen shots or any other information to report, but at least it's finally out in the open.

Any game that brings more online play to the Wii is a good game in my book.

Though admittedly I didn't much get into the first Red Steel. But online play = sold!

Online play is definitely what the first game needed so it's nice that the second one will have it.

Definitely, I liked the first one - it had its share of control problems but hopefully they will refine it in the sequel.

Hopefully they fix the "problems" the first game had and this one turns out to be a winner.

If they can fix the problems the first one had then this could become a good game.

Online Play is what will make this game sell.

I wasn't so much of the first one, but hopefully this will be a bigger hit and they have time to correct the mistakes made in the first one.

I actually became so offended by the poor quality and glitchy controls of the first that I traded it in after 2 days. And I've never traded in any games before.

Did that mean red steel was that hot it melted the coding on the disc to kill the game for you....wow
