Johnny Lee, well known Wii-Mote enthusiast has set up a head tracking system. I hope Nintendo take notice, I personally think that this could very easily become a gaming breakthrough.

Don't worry Trekies, we have just brought you one step closer to hollow-decks.

Any Nintendo Wii mod fan who hasn’t seen a Johnny Lee video must live under a rock, because this guy is all over the internet with really awesome ideas on what you can do with Nintendo Wiis and Wii-motes. The above video shows how he basically converted a regular television into a 3-dimensional VR style screen using his software and a Wii-mote.

Johnny Lee videos can be found all over YouTube. This guy is simply a genius that can do some really interesting things with the Wii.

Incredible. I would love it if Microsoft, Sony or Nintendo implemented this into their games.

This will be amazing if it's as standard next gen, or at least a fair few games use this sort of feature. It could be pulled off NOW with similar add-ons of course.

    This guys a genius.

    Wow! That is amazing.

Johnny Lee should send that video to all the major Wii developers so they can implement it into their games. How amazing would that be?

Freakin' awesome I knew it was going to happen, but it was still amazing to see They could, if they wanted to, make a portable headset device that combines some company's comfortable design (there is one company that had designed a headset viewer that is pretty much HD), with the sensor technology...

Next gen will either be like this, OR will use more stimulus to the brain via a headset of some sort....

    Well, who knows? We'll see...

That is pretty cool. It does give it a lot more 3D effect and lloks great. I think the guy should maybe contact a company (Possibly Nintendo) directly to try to get this implemented.

This would make for some truly great games if this was implemented, too bad only one person can use it...at least so far...

Why is everyone saying next gen? I would suspect at least one company could put it in this round.

That was just amazing and it really shows the potential the Wii has to be an even better console than it already is. He should get that technology patented, and contact developers to get this implemented.

    Wow.

This guy is really clever. It seems like he can figure out how to do anything just by using the Nintendo Wii remote. Telekinesis is up next, I bet!

    Truly amazing.

I can't believe he hasn't been snapped up by one of the bigger games companies.
