The Nintendo Wii might be a little hard to find in stores at the moment, but for little Taylor Smith, who suffers with a degenerative muscle disease, Nintendo pulled out the stops to make sure her Christmas was memorable.
11-year-old Taylor Smith, who has suffered with degenerative muscle disease arthrogryposis all her life, was gifted with her very own Wii this festive period courtesy of Nintendo after a family friend wrote to Nintendo in Australia asking for its assistance.

It has been reported to be used in physical rehab (physical therapy) or something....
We don't know how bad she is, she could still be strong enough to use a Wii-mote (they aren't that heavy after all)....Perhaps she is simply at the point where she just isn't as strong as her peers, but not so weak that she is unable to function...
It is progressive though, she'll get worse, not better, but who knows, regular physical action could slow down the progression of the disease...
Details about her condition are sketchy, is all...
Why call her brave though? Living with a disease doesn't make you brave.
I don't consider myself brave.
I'm not joking btw.
