Im sorry but i just don't like the song. I mean the opening song is suppose to be kick ass battle music, which is why i loved DC1 and DMC3 main theme. DMC1 main theme

I wouldn't mind if this was the ending theme song, but not for the opening theme. The opening theme was supposed to start the game with some action. like this in dmc3 at 1:08 is what i mean.

You know what I hate the most, is that Nero feels like a 'Roxas' to Dante's 'Sora' in this game. He's wearing what...the same damn jacket?! Be original.

But onto more topic-related discussion, I really enjoyed this song, flowed well with the scenes and such. Showed some freaky bosses, too. That 'damsel in distress' somehow reminds me of Onimusha. xD

Well that sucks. I was hoping for something as kick ass and as metal like as DMC3.

    Screw this pansy JBOYS shit.

My thoughts exactly. Devil May Cry was all about the kickass metal music that brings us to the game with excitement and theme of the game. This music is boring and not that interesting to listen too.

Would have been perfect for the ending, imo. I agree with you its pansy JBOYS shit. I also agree with Linkin park.

Oh ffs. I don't know why I even bother posting up theme song articles any more since they often end up with negative comments about how "pansy" the JBoys shit" is. Devil May Cry was never about "kickass metal music". Heck, the metal music wasn't introduced until the third DMC game.

Everyone's happy about the POP song that's in Devil May Cry 4. Everyone's happy about the OPERA song that's in Devil May Cry 4. Yet as soon as a Japanese ROCK band sings a song for it, it's considered to be "pansy JBoy shit". Oh god forbid a Japanese band sings a song for a Japanese game because everyone knows how oh-so-pansy-like the Japanese bands are.
But hey, what do you bet I'll end up with a heap of "OMG! Wapanese" comments and thumbs down for this.

Actually I don't mind if its japanese rock. It still can sound good. Granted I don't know what they are saying, but I still can get in with the beat and vocals, if they sounded good.

          oh, and...
          OMG! Wapanese!

No offense GG but DMC was about Heavy metal music. Now granted i didn't know it was a japanese song but that has nothing to do with my comments. I just don't like the sound of it, every DMC has heavy metal rock music and i have listen to every single song in each games. This music didn't fitted to be an intro music. Now i did say it would fit for an ending theme since thats what it sounds like to me. But those two links i gave showed the kickass metal music in each game to set the tone of the game. This is supposed to be the same. I feel no awesome feeling after listening to that intro music.

Now i only agree with what haranabi stated cause thats how it felt. It had nothing to do with who singing it GG.

Also you should now my post always gets negative remarks even my Articles and yet no one gives a shit. So i don't see how you think it always happens. I did like the CC intro but it was something about that, that it didn't fit the intro. I love the last one you made, i think it was FF game for DS. Or FF4 theme. Not all your articles i bash, its just this song didn't give me the DMC intro that i know and liked from past DMC games.

I hear Hyde's pretty damn famous in the Music business down there in Japan, wouldn't surprise me to see him involved in this project.

Song doesn't match the carnage that is the devil may cry series. If they wanted to use a j-rock band I'd say Dir en Grey's "Saku" or "Cleaver Sleazoid" would have fit better IMO. Not that the song is bad, it's just not very devil may cry-ish.

        Ah, I see.

So the PS3 is the most technically evolved thing in the world and these lazy game creators can't find any way of telling the main characters apart? >.>

Even 8bit games solved this problem; Luigi was the green one and Mario was the red one.

I have and beat the second one, which I'm told is a shame, because the other two are much better. The theme for the third one I quite liked. My ex girlfriend acquainted me to this band already, but I still think Gackt's Dirge of Cerberus song takes the cake for awesome trailer music.

Cuz Capcom couldn't really be bothered about making a radically new design for the new main character because there was a possibility that it would outrage the rabid fanboys if they can't have the "pretty boy", cheesy one "line-ing" Dante...so they made another "pretty boy", cheesy one "line-ing" Dante CLONE...

...or maybe Capcom doesn't give a shit...but that's just my own two cents in this.
