Subjectivity should be accepted not criticised, but that hasn't stopped fanboys from ripping into recent game awards handed out by Spike TV and GameTrailers, claiming all sorts of bias. Step forward Metacritic.com, which offers its awards based on nothing but review score aggregation. No arguments? Unlikely.
While some readers may deride the respectability of certain review sources listed on Metacritics pages, theres little arguing with contributing numbers provided by IGN, GameSpot, GameSpy, Game Informer, Edge, 1UP, Play, and Games Radar.
Bearing that in mind, Metacritic has unveiled various "Best" and "Dud" games spread across a host of categories, which are as follows...
