Rumor: UT3 on Xbox360 about 90% Complete?

Dance Floor Killah | January 01, 2008 | News | XBOX 360
According to a scan from a German gaming magazine, Unreal Tournament 3 may be 90% done for the Xbox360, and is apparently no longer on hold. Still no estimation for a release date.
Considering it's due on the Mac in early 2008, it shouldn't come as a surprise that the on-again, off-again Xbox 360 port of Epic's Unreal Tournament III isn't "on hold" any longer, and may even be as far along as 90% complete – if we're to believe a scanned image from a German gaming magazine. Our German is a bit rusty (read: nonexistent) but the folks from MaxConsole are saying the release is expected sometime around April of next year.

Maybe even earlier than April. In any case, a rumor is a rumor, so we can't be too optimistic.

Yeah this has been going around lately, the joking bit has been that the last 10% is in regard to them trying to get user created content on the console itself.

They kinda need all the sales they can get to push this game along, hopefully they do pick up. It would be a bit sad to see the franchise fading out the mainstream.

Epic themselves don't stand much harm given how much they've licensed out the UT3 engine for next-gen development.
