Kotaku's Games of 2007 !

Kotaku.com recently held a "Reader's Choice Awards" in which regulars of the site could vote for their favorite game of 2007 from each console.

And while not everyone was happy with how the awards were conducted, the results were still tallied and winners were still announced.

Read below to find out who won. You might be pleasantly surprised (but then again, if you've been keeping track of the popular games of 2007, you probably won't be).

    Congrats to Super Mario Galaxy for Kotaku's GOTY! It certainly isn't easy for the Wii to compete with the hard-hitting games on the other consoles such as BioShock and such, but Super Mario Galaxy is an exception and must-own for Wii owners, imo.

    Agree with Galaxy getting overall Game of the Year.
    I'd also agree with Bioshock as 360 GOTY, and Portal as PC.
    I wasn't too keen on Ratchet and Clank on PSP, but I guess that's just me.

    Overall, a good list in my opinion.

      gotta agree. ratchet and clank as goty psp? not too sure.

    Jeanne d'Arc for PSP should have gotten more recognition this year. It is an excellent game that isn't a port or spin-off.

    Glad to see Portal actually winning a GOTY award. It's a great game, but I had doubts since it's a fraction of the length of any competitors.

    Congratulations for Super Mario Galaxy getting the overall choice. I wouldn't doubt that for a moment, it's a one of a kind game.

    This is definitely the best arrangement from all the 2007 awards I've seen yet.

    The best games this year are Uncharted, God of War 2 and Rogue Galaxy.

    Ratchet & Clank Future is 100 times better then mario galaxy, i finished that game in my cousins house in just hours to short and if it wasnt that its a mario game it wouldnt get goty thats for sure.
