Here goes the Crysis on consoles rumor again. An online store has listed a 360 version of the game as being available in November this year. Crytek has said in the past that if the PC version got great review scores then console versions are very possible. Keep your fingers crossed!

It’s been discovered that a game store in Austria is displaying the Xbox 360 version of Crysis with the release date of November 20th 2008 in their online store. While there has been no official announcement of any kind, don’t be too surprised if this pans out.

Heres hoping. I would buy it. Seeing as they didn't sell to well, they might port it to get more sells out from consoles.

Yeah Crysis is a great game. Thing is how are they going to bring it to consoles? None of them support DirectX10.

There are actually other rendering calls that people have played with trying to get OpenGL as an option. Volacide was playing with them at the time. Regardless the game is a massive RAM consumer for textures and realtime play.

No only that the storyline sucks. Its only good for visuals. Vegitax2 didn't you say it was a waste of money and time to play this game?

The story isn't dense at all, the gameplay ends up being very linear and as a single player offering it gets old fast especially in the later half of the game where you get into what seems like a rushed sequence of events and navigation all for the sake of not showing you too much and guiding you into Crysis 2. Given that the game was split later in development to be a series of titles.

1st half up to the revealed twist, decent gaming some replay but nothing in depth. 2nd half to the cliffhanger, worthless for the most part and often times feeling rushed.

Multiplayer is ok enough but not worth dumping $50 or $59 in console form for. It's doubtful the full sandbox would be included as well which is just a prelude to boredom.
