Finally would be in reference to Crysis by EA and Crytek. Farcry 2 =/= Crysis
The amount of confusion between EA and Crytek with Crysis and Ubi and Farcry 2 is really bad these days. It'd be nice to get people on the right page.
It's doubtful we'll see Crysis on the console level anyway, with the game in realtime consuming over 1GB of ram during levels you'd be hard pressed to find HDD caching coming close to compensating for that given how slow data transfer rates are compared to RAM speeds.
Using relaxed settings still and not running at 1080 it consumes over 1GB of memory in game not including the OS consumption (320mb when doing the shots) and not including RAM consumption on the video card as well. (1920x1200 on High (not very high) consumes 615MB of Video memory)
I actually want this game though, I got the old FarCry for the hell of it on the 360, this aughta be awesome though.
I don't recall Ubi ever talking about it being a PC exclusive regardless though. Unless it's another case of someone confusing Crysis with Farcry 2.
