Assassin's Creed for DS Accidentally Revealed

Apparently someone leaked some info about the making of an Assasins Creed for the Nintendo DS. It already has a thought out storyline, and may have the same concept of gameplay as the old Prince Of Persia. What are your opinions on this?

The folks at Go Nintendo have unearthed the first details on the confirmed-but-not-yet-revealed Nintendo DS version of Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed. Rather than simply downgrade the highly ambitious console and PC versions, the publisher appears to have given the game it's own storyline set before the events of Assassin's Creed and implemented a much more classic Prince of Persia gameplay setup.


Titled Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles, the game's touch screen will apparently be used to interrogate suspects and pickpocket those around you, while the top screen features a fully 3D environment for you to explore. Other than that, though, we don't have much else to go on -- but we'll let you know when we do.

    You know I think this game may actualy do good. However if this game had been released before CoD 4 and NFS pro street I would have said that this game would have been a flop.

    Is it me, or does it seem that there's a decent influx of different-1st-party (don't quite know the name for that) reports such as Halo DS (debunked) CoD4 DS, and now this?



    Can ANYONE explain what happened to "exclusive"?

          Also, 'exclusive' only really refers to the three-set of the PS3, the Xbox 360 and the Wii, and it doesn't include portables or PC.

    The game sounds very interesting, seeing as I intended to buy Assassin's Creed for my PS3 anyhow. The controls and everything sounds very unique.

    I bet it is for the DS not PSP because more people have a DS than a PSP.

    Sounds pretty cool, might try it out. Seems a tad weird only to bring it out on DS, though.

    Probably get this? You mad, this is a defo. Completely new story, etc.. Great fun.

    Tbh, i don't think the PSP would be a better choice, think of all the things you could do with a touch screen, then you could normal controls...
