The award-winning Fable arrived exclusively on the Xbox back in 2004 to much acclaim and not a little head shaking from gamers who felt cheated by the lack of some of the game's much publicised features.

Creator Lionhead Studios is looking to address those disappointments with the upcoming Fable 2 on the Xbox 360.

The official GDC session description outlines that Molyneux’s ambition as a videogame designer "is to make Fable 2 a landmark game," and this will see the renowned studio head unveiling "three big design features" that have been added to the sequel.

Fable's a great game, no mistake about it, but it would have been a much more enjoyable experience if Molyneux hadn't opened his mouth so much before it was released.

Hopefully he can deliver on his promises this time.

Yeah...would be nice if most of the stuff he promises is delivered for this game >_>

Asking for ALL of it, would be a bit much (that almost never happens) -_-

Yea most developers do that, tell you loads of stuff thats going to be in it then over half of it doesnt turn up. Mass effect was one of those, the pause action screen so you can move your team members around never appeared .

Fable was an exceptionally good RPG, ive got high hopes for Fable 2.

You're right ljp. Molyneux had us expecting way too much from the first game, pissed me off. But I can see why he did it, to get more sales and such...if he does this again, however, I will not jump at the chance to play it like I did the first Fable.

No, he does it because he gets way too excited. It's actually pretty refreshing to get a flood of info. Most developers keep it secret. It just sucks that he talked about what he wanted to do before it was implemented.

Yeah I can understand that, but that just disappoints us in the long run. I don't mind him with this info here, but I was talking about when he was about to release Fable. He made the game feel flawless.

Yeah, I hear ya. It's just refreshing to me. Even so I think he probably learned his lesson.
