iGames centers around the USA will host Savage 2 gameplay, says a recent press release. Savage 2 is the sequel to the RTSS Savage: Battle for Newerth. Players will be able to access their accounts at iGames locations. Savage 2 will be released on January 16th.

Independent game developer S2 Games announced today a partnership with iGames, North America’s leading game center organization, for the launch of Savage 2: A Tortured Soul.     Not a bad price, $30. Looks quite similar to WoW to me, but eh, that doesn't bother me.

    That reminds me way too much of WoW. Especially the user interface. That right there bothers me enough to not try it, but I think I might. Can't judge a book by it's cover, or in this case... A game by it's trailer.

    I played Savage for a while. It's not WoW in the least, considering it isn't an RPG. It's a Shooter/RTS. Each team has one commander, and they control the buildings and worker units, research weapons and upgrades, and give orders to the other players. They play it like a shooter and act as the rest of the units.

    However, Savage is free and still entertaining, though I did buy it when it came out. I'll probably wait for a similar thing to happen here, or maybe for it to get cheaper.
