For a long time, Brawl fans have been holding their breath for the announcement of Sheik, and with the release date getting closer and closer it was beginning to look grim.

But now it's finally 100% official - Sheik will appear in Super Smash Bros. Brawl!

[go to source for more info]

Use Zelda’s down special move to transform into Sheik! Once you do so, you’ll have access to a new character completely unique from Zelda.

Sheik doesn’t appear in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, but we based her model on a design that was drafted up during the development of that game.

I may not be following step by step, but my friend is, and he is massively relieved at it, haha. I heard that a preliminary review came in for the game, with a perfect score. Wow.

IMO, nothing deserves a perfect score. Near perfect is quite alright (OoT fits that category for me), but every game has at least one flaw that'll prevent it from being perfect. :S

I'm still a bit upset that Roy/Marth aren't confirmed...I understand it's because Fire Emblem usually does a different cast, story, and such with their games, but come on, those two, especially Marth, help to popularize FE for me, and Marth was my top/favorite character in Melee. Least we are getting a DS game featuring him.

But anyways, glad to see the quick and effective Sheik back in the game.

Of course games have flaws, but a perfect score doesn't always mean there are no flaws.

I am surprised they haven't announced Roy, Marth, Captain Falcon or Ness. I hope they didn't replace Ness with Lucus and R/M with Ike...

True, I mean if you spelt a word wrong in an essay, say...simultaneous, and it was still a great essay, I'm sure the teacher would give you an A.

Still...hype may have been their motive in reviewing. Certainly was all about hype and keeping their readers with Halo 3 reviews.

Yes, because they used Twilight Princess Zelda as a model this time around and Sheik was not present in that game. So I'm glad that they went ahead and added her with an updated look.

Indeed. Also, we can see her breasts in a picture.

Glad to see Sheik in. I was starting to doubt her return due to Zelda having her Twilight Princess model.

I'm disappointed that Sheik has the exact same final smash thought.
