Bioshock Devs Seeking PS3 Programmers

A rumor has been going around that there may be a Bioshock game in the works for the PS3. In addition to that rumor, there is another rumor saying that a Bioshock prequel is in development. 2k has only revealed that it's got another project going. Whatever it is, we'll have to wait and see.

In time with EGM recently regurgitated the rumour that BioShock would be "Cell-enabled" in 2008 comes new job listings at 2K Boston clearly indicating that some sort of work is happening on the PS3. Compound that with further rumours that a BioShock prequel is in the works and, well, you wind up with absolutely no confirmation and a bit of a headache.

If it DOES come out on the PS3 (just a rumor as it is now), and isn't a poor port, I MIGHT get it, at least, if it has additional content >_> Otherwise I'd pick up the 360 version at a lower price >_>

    Errr, because it is a game that would have just been released on the PS3, and the 360 version would have been out for what? A year, maybe more (if it gets released this fall, if ever)
    
    The 360 version would have gone down in price, but they get 'new blood' on the PS3 console, so they can get away with charging full price (well, maybe $5 cheaper than usual for 'new games')....

Good to see that the developers will be taking a step backwards if they do announce a multi-platform prequel to things. I guess sugar coating old game play from SS2 for more returns will be the new strategy for them.

Good to see people rating down, it kinda shows how many really don't even know the history of this dev team or what they accomplished prior to bioshock and how making a cheap prequel is a slap in the face to those who followed their path of success and supported them when they pushed themselves.

Hmm I wounder what a prequal would be like. Maby you would start when the city was normal and started to turn crazy.

wait couldn't that project in works be you know... borderlands their next game?
