2007 NPD sales data

wohoo | January 17, 2008 | News | Playstation 2 Playstation 3
The latest NPD data shows that the video game industry grew, and big time, last year. Nintendo of course did the best and proved that Wii and DS have no plans to slow down.
Looking at total hardware sales, there aren’t really any ‘woah!’ news to speak of - Nintendo fails to surprise anyone as Wii sold almost as many units as Xbox 360 and PS3 combined, and DS selling over two times more units than PSP. Halo 3, breaking all kinds of records and all, is of course number one on the software sales chart, followed by Wii Play and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Real numbers after the break.
