Price cut fever is positively setting the Internet alight today. This latest rumour of cost adjustment is related to the Xbox 360 Premium and could possibly see Microsoft gut-punching Sony by lopping a further $50 USD from the console on the exact day Grand Theft Auto IV is released to retail.
According to BitBags Torrence Davis, a knowledgeable but "unnamed" individual has stepped from the shadowy confines of speculation city in order to tip the (not especially popular) blog that Redmond-based Microsoft will hack another $49 USD from the price of the 20GB Premium Xbox 360 console.
By way of reaction, Davis offers that such a move would be smart considering that "we know millions upon millions of people love the GTA series."
