Destroy All Humans! Big Willy Unleashed... cancelled on the PS2

While expectant PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners continue to wait for the arrival of Destroy All Humans! Path of the Furon!, faithful PS2 owners are having to bite the release bullet today after THQ's announcement that Destroy All Humans! Big Willy Unleashed has been cancelled.

California-based THQ Inc., which has recently found acclaim with the likes of Smackdown vs. Raw 2008 and MX vs ATV: Untamed, has revealed that the PlayStation 2 version of humour-laced action title Destroy All Humans! Big Willy Unleashed has been canned on the PlayStation 2.

Strang that they would cancel the PS2 version as that is one of the worlds biggest audiences. Maybe there trying to entice people onto the PS3?

And the PS2 suffers yet another setback. I think the tide is finally starting to turn away from the PS2, developers want to stick to next-generation consoles so that they don't have to streamline all the versions together, and that means cutting some content out of the PS2 game.

Of course. ther eprobably going to stop all production for the ps2 as well soon I imagine to force people to buy other consoles for the new games.
