Haze delay means possible 2009 release

PlayStation 3 fans hoping to recoup some of the software losses experienced in 2007, which saw exclusive titles suffering annoying delays, may have to wait quite a bit longer to enjoy the drug-fuelled action of Haze. Specifically, publisher Ubisoft has announced the game may not arrive until spring 2009.

In amongst the financial figures release by Ubisoft in a recent performance report covering the third quarter of its fiscal year, which ended on December 31, the prominent publisher and developer has revealed that Haze’s current release date of March 2008 has been abandoned.

While offering no explanation, the game is now pencilled in for a retail arrival some time during the fiscal year 2008, which runs from April 01 of 2008, through to March 31 of 2009.

    Oh well, still got MGS 4 and others. Wont really make a difference.

    Just something for PS3 owners to look forward to in 09.

    omg, this is so *bleep*in funny. this game is gonna be so crap when (if) it ever gets released. everyone who wanted it will forget about it and not give a damn. i was interested at fisrt but now i couldnt give a shit. who cares anymore if it will even be released?

      You'll see how many people care when it's released and how many units are sold, so only time will tell. It's a very promising game, you can't just dismiss how good a game it will be solely because you've lost interest and lack in patience.

    Is this a bad joke? They just assured us the damn game would be out before March. Now who knows when it will be out, and its only a timed exclusive again?. All these delays across the whole industry are really beating me in the head now. It'll be a whole 6 months before a good PS3 exclusive is out. This was the one game I was waiting to play early this year. Burnout and Devil May Cry are fun, but they're really just filler until the big games come out some time LATER this year.

      It's in the Xbox 360 forum section as well as PS3 and PC, because the game will also be released across all three formats.

    It just said it has CHANCE of coming out 09.

    Just becauser its delayed no need to start saying the game is shit. I mean if you were them you wouldent want to put it out unfinished.


    Think about it this way:
    You got some big Courcework in for friday
    Youve been telling your teacher that you can get it in for the deadline even though you know you cant
    Thursaday comes and you ask for an extention.

    If it came out unfinished you would all be shouting at it for being "crap" and "unfinished".
