In an interview with MTV News Jeronimo Barrera states the PS3 is "...partly to blame for the delay." He touches on many things to expect in the game such as romance and violence. There will be no "Hot Coffee" but there will be romance and dating. All straight not bisexual like in "Bully". The game according to Barrera will be as violent as the player desires, leading this reader to conclude we can go easy or create havoc at will. It is a nice article, please see the "source" for the complete story.

"GTA" games haven't missed their announced release dates before. When the delay was announced in August, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick told investors that "the reason it is being delayed is almost strictly technological problems — not problems, but challenges." Barrera offered a little more detail to MTV News this week: "It's really no surprise to anybody that the PS3 was definitely a contributing factor to that. Now, we're neck and neck. That's not an issue anymore. But back then that was something we were taking into account. That's not to say there's anything wrong with the PS3 version. It's awesome. They're both identical."

And here I thought it was because of fear of being overrun by games such as Halo 3...of course that wouldn't have happened.

Interesting, but I had heard about this before. Seems like they're sticking to the An Snadreas formula, minus the Hot Coffee, of course. Not a bad thing for us gamers, though, that's what makes GTA work.

from the sound of it, the PS3 was a problem at the start. understandable, its a new machine, using new, high-end tech, so theres gonna be some teething

but it says now they're neck and neck, can assume that both PS3 and 360 have issues with the game
