New screenshots released for Resistance 2

Although PlayStation 3 fans might currently have their FPS heads turned in the direction of a certain Killzone 2, Insomniac Games has today made a worthy play for attention with the release of seven gorgeous new screenshots taken from the upcoming sequel to Reistance: Fall of Man. Enjoy.

Following the recent success of colourful platform adventure Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, developer Insomniac Games is wasting absolutey no time in cranking up audience expectation levels for its next exclusive PlayStation 3 offering.


Moreover, the studio has today released a rather sexy selection of screenshots taken from its upcoming sequel to the hugely popular sci-fi first-person shooter Resistance: Fall of Man, which successfully carved itself a fan niche as an acclaimed launch title for Sony's powerhouse gaming platform.

    Yea, the images are in 720p (at least, the ones that were posted on a different site were)...

    I hope that doesn't mean the game itself is only at 720p >_> I want 1080p >_<

    Well, it is still early on in development, so it will likely be 1080p (or at least 1080i) >_>

    Wow great screenshots, the Chimera look a little odd though, they don't really have that hunched back anymore.

    Also is it just me but in that airfield one are Chimeria filing out of that jumbo plane?

      Yep, that is what it looks like...

      Well, they did something similar in the first one, they were dropped off in a cargo container by an airship >_>
