Yes, that's right. Valve has just confirmed that there will be a sequel to the popular puzzle game, Portal. There still aren't any details on the actual game, but at least it has been confirmed.

Valve has said it will definitely be making more Portal, confirming plans to add significantly more than just "a bunch of new puzzles".

Speaking to Eurogamer, spokesperson Doug Lombardi said it was less a matter of if and more a matter of what and when.

"There'll be more Portal, for sure. But the details of that, to be honest, we're still working out," he said.

Hopefully the Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device will make it into Episode 3.

And we better see a return of the Cube.

It's dead, ljp. You just had to throw our friend into the incinerator! Why?!

I'm looking forward to this game. I don't mind it being the same length, just keep the some of the great elements that made it's first game stand out. This confirmation made my day. ^^

Hey, the cube was threatening me and calling me names. I had no other choice.

        And yet... *weep*

Sort of obvious a sequel to one of the best games in history will be made. :\

Hmm I wonder how they will package it. Will it be downloadable off Steam, or maybe in the next episode of Half Life 2? Whatever happens I hope it makes its way to the consoles eventually

I'm praying for online multiplayer co-op! "No no no! Stand over on THAT button, wait for me to infinite loop, and shoot ORANGE portal on the left wall so I can fly and grab the companion cube!"

Yay, I can't wait. I'm sure hoping this game will be much longer than the first, that was the only disappoint before.
