Buying a video game console is not investing your money, an investment is something you make money off of.
I don't understand why people call buying an expensive item an investment when they have no intentions on later selling it for PROFIT. You will not profit from a PS3, 360, or a Wii.
Before you or anybody comment with "but it is an investment":
No it's not, you are dumb. Here, I'll even give you the definition of investment: "1. the investing of money or capital in order to gain profitable returns, as interest, income, or appreciation in value."
Your console will not gain value over time. How good they do does not effect you. I own a 360 and could give a shit less about how many other people buy one. If microsoft goes belly up then so be it. I'll just buy a sony or nintendo product next, honestly, the ONLY people who give a flying *bleep* about sales are people IN the company and fanboys. Grow up.
