Call of Duty Black Ops Voted ‘Best Game Ending’ Of All Time

After the contreversy over GameSpot and the alleged firing of Jeff Gerstmann due to giving a review a low rating, many others have left GameSpot, one of which blamed CNet, the company that runs GameSpot for the reason as to any of this has happened.
Well today, we see the depature of yet another GameSpot veteran reviewer, namely Ryan Davis who seems to have been close to Gerstmann.
It seems that GameSpot is slowly losing it's oldest staff, over the unfair dismissal of a reviewer because they gave the game an "honest" low grade. Could things be getting any worse for GameSpot?
It's been almost 8 years since I started working at GameSpot, and Jeff was there for nearly all of my fondest and most memorable experiences on the job. ... Simply put, I would not be in the video game business at all were it not for Jeff Gerstmann, and I am loathe to imagine what I might be doing with my life right now without the focus I've earned from having this ridiculous job. ... But now, Jeff's gone, and I'm not afraid to say that it absolutely breaks my heart. I felt the departure of Rich Gallup from the site earlier this year in my bones, but this goes deeper. Jeff was a rare constant, and this marks the end of an era for both GameSpot and myself, a fact that doesn't seem to be getting any less upsetting for me.

Jeff's gone, Alex Navarro quit, Frank Provo quit, and now Ryan Davis has quit. CNet is burning GameSpot to the ground. I highly doubt their new Editor in Cheif, Ricardo Torres, can gain back the trust of anyone. The fact still remains that the top dogs of CNet are still there and CNet still owns GameSpot.
In any case, I hope these people who are leaving find a nice comfy job that they enjoy.
I agree with the firing to be honest, i didn't even think the game deserved the 6/10 imo, i found the demo quite fun, and played the game and i thought it should have gotten 7/10.
But hey if your getting money to advertise a game, don't make a garbage review to bash the game. CNet is a business and they should be treating that situation as one. And they did a good job imo.
Although like krunal said we have yet to know the true story since GS has made 5 different ones over the past month about it.
