GamePro To Have Gears Of War 2 Special? No I Don't Think So!

One good marketing ploy would be tell people about a game that has yet to be announced... and it seems that, it is exactly what GamePro did with their latest issue which is to be put on sale just over a week from today.

That's right, the news that you read there is not actually true. There is no special announcement on Gears of War 2 in the GamePro magazine, and the special report, was actually to do about the XBOX360. What GamePro will actually reveal about the game is certainly a mystery, especially considering that Mark Rein explicitly stated in a post in the official Epic forums that it is complete nonsense and nothing has been announced thus far.

    that sounds crap. i never knew that these magazine people give out false advertisements of nonexistant games. damn them. how many people would be utterly disappointed if this is true?

    Ahhhh those bloody sobs. Oh well we already know that Gears Of War 2 will come sooner or later. We just don't know when.
