Games We Love but Wish We Could Love Playing

In the latest issue of EGM in the rumors section, Dead Rising 2 is supposedly in the works for multiple consoles, and God of War: Chains of Olympus is supposedly coming to the PS2. For more information and rumors, go to the source.
The March issue of EGM should be arriving for subscribers around this time, and as usual Quartermann has some rumors for us, and particularly juicy ones at that!
The one I am most interested in is that Dead Rising 2 is in the works (ya think?) for multiple consoles, but instead of Capcom developing it directly, a Los Angeles based developer is taking care of it. Dead Rising 2 rumors seem to have become a sort of fad, something that people will throw out there just for some news. I hope this rumor has more going for it, as I want my damn sequel already! Dead Rising is still one of my favorite 360 titles, and I can just imagine what crazy shit they come up with for this one. More goofy outfits and ridiculously powerful weapons based on other Capcom games please! Maybe a Phoenix Wright outfit! DO THIS.
The second rumor I am most interested in (but would be even more if I didnt buy a PSP) is that God of War: Chains of Olympus will be heading to the PS2 eventually, much like the Grand Theft Auto games for the PSP, or more recently, Silent Hill: Origins and Twisted Metal: Head-On. I would rather control Kratos with two analog sticks up on the big screen, but it is more a matter of if I am willing to wait for its release. I bought the Grand Theft Auto games for the PS2 because I didnt own a PSP yet, and controlling those games on the PSP would be a bitch.
More information and rumors at the source.

But its a rumor and im taking it as a grain of salt to be honest.
One more thing, this is from 1Up so its even more uncredible. The same idiots who claimed there was going to be FF7 remake this year, please get real.
They poured their sweet and blood to make this game epic for a hand held, no one will buy this version if there is a console version coming, its bad all around for RAD.
Many God of War fans with PSP's are not going to wait months for the PS2 port. I know I won't, and yet I'll still probably get the PS2 version too. I don't see what is so stupid about it. It has happened before too, and I don't think developers would keep doing the ports if it caused the problems you're suggesting.
They have left the PS2, God of War team, Ready at Dawn are no longer making games for it, they said this previously. Why make a game for the PS2, doing so makes them a hypocrite. Same as SE, they too left PS2 for PS3 and making a few titles for hand helds. Seriously its just not going to happen.
These american developers will probably bump up the gore ten-fold and throw the storyline to the back.
- @finalblade: Do you honestly believe that people would be a $100++ PSP bundle rather than a $50-$60 PS2 game??? It's gonna happen despite whatever developers say, and you gotta be seriously naive not to think so.
RAD just like SE has moved on. This is just a rumor and unlike some im not going to say yes its going to happen when its just a rumor.
I just don't see this happening. God of War has never been ported, its not the kind of game that would. Again im not here for pats im here to make points and back up my statements. If you think thats what im after then your wrong. Its a rumor, and until its been officially stated by the team themselves its not going to happen, and im taking this as a grain of salt.
I am a big fan of portable games, and a PSP port on the PS2 won't feel complete.
