In an upcoming issue of the Dallas Business Journal, Scott Miller has given more information about Duke Nukem Forever, which has been further enhanced by a couple of email exchanges, where he reports that the game may even be coming to the PS3 and 360.

Edit: This appears to have been false information.

Garland-based video games developer 3D Realms has said Duke Nukem Forever, the highly anticipated sequel to its revolutionary 1996 PC game Duke Nukem 3D, is projected to be completed in late 2008, with versions likely for Microsoft's Xbox 360, Sony's PlayStation 3 home video game consoles and personal computers.

I don't think anyone is "holding their breath" as such, we all know the deal with this game, everything should be taken with a grain of salt.

It's interesting that they potentially want to have this on 3 platforms by the end of the year. If they're hoping for that, maybe they're further through development than people think?

Only if they make DNF on all platforms at once like DMC4, then i could see this happening by the end of the year. Then again that raises the question how long was this in development. Since it was just 2 months ago since the news of this game. Cause i don't want to see this game flop at all. I love the old time DN and is exciting about the news. But i would rather them take their time with the games Development than try to rush it.

Actually i forgot they were making this game for 7 years, so i could see this happening. But still rather them take their time though.

I hope it comes out for both, they would be stupid, imo, not to.
I mean they get more value and expand on the fanbase.
Still im glad they until its ready. Then again this game should be ready if they were making this game for 7 years.

You know, I've been waiting for this game before puberty, and I'm now 18. Hilarious. If any of you are familiar with rap, Dr. Dre's Detox has exactly the same problem, it is "tentatively" scheduled for release in June this year, after originally being projected for August 2001.

And the info is fake from what I've heard, so I guess we'll be able to play this when we're on social security.
