A British band called The Answer has issued a press release saying that Guitar Hero 4 will most likely come out this year.

To be quite honest, I highly doubt more than 6 people are surprised by this. =P

Guitar Hero IV will be released at the end of 2008, according to an unlikely press release from British band The Answer.

Its song "Never Too Late" will feature in the line-up, apparently, after being picked out at the Marché international de l'édition musicale (or Midem conference) held at the end of January.

More than 200 songs were submitted by music companies at the enormous industry trade fair, and Activision (plus experts) chose just 20 of them to appear in Guitar Hero IV.

Yeah, with DLC pretty much on every platform it seems pointless. Why not just build GH3 instead. Maybe release expansions for PS2.

Should release as they are done as DLC and then in a pack later for those without live or maybe make it a little better deal for waiting.

Bleh, can't see it selling as well as 3. GH games need around 2 years between games- especially with DLC being such a heavily pushed feature.

Another Guitar Hero? Already? They should atleast wait a few years. =/

Maybe they could announce the arrival of Halo 3, or the release of the Playstation 3 as well.

Yeah, December 3rd 2007. Kinda old, maybe they can actually follow up on the later news about them releasing a COD each year and a new GH each year as well (targetted of course)
