If you don't and you have a PS3, why don't you join Stanford University's Folding@home program and help the university learn more about protein folding in an attempt to find a cure for some of the most life-threatening diseases in the world today? There are currently a total of one million Playstation 3 owners that have joined this worthy cause, with more people joining every day.

Don't have a PS3? Don't worry, you can also use it on your PC, Mac, or Linux computer as long as you have a working Internet connection.

The Folding@home program aids the study of protein folding in order to help scientists attempting to tackle the development of a number of diseases, including Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Huntington's, cystic fibrosis and certain forms of cancer.

If this is true, then PS3 owners are registering but not doing anything:
    From the folding@home site:
    Active CPUS:26571
    Total CPUS: 425573
    http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/main.py?qtype=osstats

so what with the < 50% participation rate and the very small active participants?

I'm folding but maybe twice a month if that. Usually do it when the controller needs charging. Two birds.

I've been folding on my PC for ages now. Nice to see that there's such a massive amount of people folding.
