Games Releasing This Week: 02/11/08: Lost Odyssey, Professor Layton and the Curious Village

Akira_EX | February 11, 2008 | News | PC Playstation 2
Well, this was originally the week Super Smash Bros. Brawl was supposed to drop, at least until the delay happened. However, what that means is that the games released this week aren't sent to die, and that's a good thing, right?

The two games I'm looking most forward to this week are the two in the title: Lost Odyssey (360) and Professor Layton and the Curious Village (NDS). Lost Odyssey is another RPG designed by Mistwalker, headed by the man who created Final Fantasy, Hironobu Sakaguchi. Professor Layton and the Curious Village is an adventure game developed by Level-5, and the series has been very popular in Japan.

Notable games this week:
Dungeon Explorer: Warriors of Ancient Arts (DS)
Harvest Moon (VC)
Innocent Life: A Futuristic Harvest Moon Special Edition (PS2)
Lords of Thunder (VC)
Lost Odyssey (360)
Ninja Gaiden Black (Xbox Originals) (360)
Professor Layton and the Curious Village (NDS)

I can't wait for Lost Odyssey. Blue Dragon and Enchanted Arms were both only ok at best, so it's good to see the 360 finally get a great (or at least good) JRPG.
