These are eight new screenshots recently released from the upcoming PC version of Mass Effect. The appear to be of a higher resolution when compared to the Xbox 360 version.

BioWare recently announced the coming of Mass Effect to the PC, but they have also released eight new screenshots from the new version as well. They appear crisper and of higher resolution than their Xbox 360 brethren.

    They definitely look it. The two images not listed here are of the character generation screens. You can see how crisp the textures of his face are. I only hope the system requirements wont be all DirectX 10'd out so we are forced to use Vista with it.

      I see no reason for it to be DX10 considering the 360 is DX9. It might have some DX10 support but the chances for DX10 only are slim to none.

    I damn well hope for PC gamers that it will keep a steady framerate and lose the texture pop-in.

        It depends on how easily modable this game is. Unless a game is easy to create content for the end user the most you might see are nude skins or something.
