Spore On Next-Gen Consoles?

Delayed, delayed and delayed. That's been the story for Spore, always being delayed... however it recently (and finally) managed to get an EU release date of 5th September for the PC, MAC and DS versions.

However, rumours have already begun to surface about a next-gen version of the game being considered, and better yet, the Wii version is already underway....

In addition, when asked about possible Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game, CVG quotes Spore producer Thomas Vu as stating: "There's lots of technical hurdles we have to think about before we can say, 'Okay, we can do this or not'.

    I want the Wii one, making your own creature and then conquering planets with it is FUN! BUT if it comes to 360 I will get it

    I would love it for the ps3 too. I want this for PC but mines is pretty crappy.

    PS3 for me

    My PC isn't all that fancy >_> Good for internet and video watching, not good for newer games >_>

    The online component makes it a no-brainer to have on the PS3, since it is free online, and I don't have Live GOLD >_>

    Spore is a very innovative game announced a couple of years back for the PC. Basically you make your own race of aliens, and then lead them as they evolve. Also races which have been made by other players will be transferred to your game online.

    Yeah! I can't wait to make my own Alein Species. I hope you get to blow up planets, just in case I make an Ugly race and I want to destroy all the remnants of those bastards.
