  In all fairness this changes significantly when you there are more games available for the console. Take the PS2 for example. PS2 had some of the best games ever but it's got the largest library and there is more room for crap games.

    Yeah, that is part of the reason...
    
    I've stated on another forum, that a good part of the reason for the PS3 having a higher average rating for games, is simply because the game devs that push out crap or mediocre games, don't want to tackle the PS3's harder to code for architecture, it is too daunting for these substandard devs....
    
    Once more tools are available, and it becomes relatively easy to code for, you'll see a lot more crap games on the PS3....
    
    Same for when the PS3 has a much larger number of units out there, currently it is behind the Wii (which has the most crap games), and 360 (a bit behind the PS3 in % of quality games). Not to mention older gen consoles...
    
    Give it time, and you'll see a lot more crap games on the PS3, but you'll also see some awesome games too, as the hardware becomes easier to code for...Better graphics and gameplay....

  The graph at that bit shows them as equal and it's also a fairer set of rules. So saying "The graph says it all." Is a little bit of a white lie.
  
  I have nothing against the PS3 or the 360. They do things differently and it's just what people like but I don't like the way you've worded it in the introduction to make it seem like "PS3 FTW!!"

  PS3, XBOX 360, and the Wii al have their share of great games.
  
  The reason the Wii has such a "dismal" percentage is that some developers see a lot of money in it, so they push out crap, lowering the ratings.

  Yes, becaue when I buy a console, I buy the one with a multitude of average games. Screw Mass Effect, BioShock, Halo 3, Gears of War, and other critically acclaimed games. There's AVERAGE out there!

        Geez, this site is about people's opinions and comments on gaming articles. It was pretty obvious I was just saying that the 360 doesn't have as ridiculous games as that chart suggests.

        Gears of War is really pretty lame considering 70% of winning games online is purely good luck. It has some good concepts and the cover system is great but it's terribly frustrating to play.
        
        Considering Halo 2.5: Well, it is what it is; overrated. To this day I still don't know what makes everyone get a stiff over BioShock either. No multiplayer, essentially rehashed off of a past game, etc. etc.=/

  I massively prefer the list of games on the Wii and 360 over the PS3 game library, despite what these statistics show. Also as said above, there are many factors involved such as the 360 being out longer which has contributed to this.
