Satellite Images Used to Create Supreme Ruler 2020 Maps

Apparently, the upcoming strategy game Supreme Ruler 2020 used NASA sat images to construct their game maps with surprising accuracy. Or at least, so sayeth the press release. The game is scheduled to come out in May of this year. I hope they will release a demo before then, though.

    Huh, interesting. I won' get this game (never heard of it, I think)....but still, interesting...

    I mean, they use motion capture, and images of real people to map on game characters faces, so this isn't so hard to believe (especially when it really isn't that hard to imagine)....

    Yeah. it's pretty cool what tech companies use to make games these days. All the roads on TDU were done using GPS data of the real thing..
