Call of Duty Black Ops Voted ‘Best Game Ending’ Of All Time
12 hours 32 mins ago
As we approach the apparent release date of mid-late April for this anticipated game, Mario Kart Wii, Nintendo can't help but tease us with screenshots, details, and now the box art. So we now know what it looks like, now the next question that comes to mind is: What's it going to cost us? With the Wii-Wheel it's bound to be more than the average $50, but perhaps buying it packaged with the game will be cheaper.
Anyways, can't have a Mario game without the mascot to show off in the cover now can we? Mario and his brother Luigi turn the box 'colorful' as they fashion the new Wii-Mote accessory.
If the official Mario Kart Wii box art tells us anything, it's that we won't be waltzing out of the local game store with a standard-issue game case tucked neatly into our back pocket. No, we'll be lugging around an actual box -- and for what? The Wii Wheel. We can't imagine Nintendo's gonna charge extra for this 2-cent hunk of plastic, but it's the inconvenience that irks us: another box to break down, another prop cluttering the coffee table. What say we round these wheels up and send 'em on a one-way rocket to the sun!

What's up with that? Just sounds gimmicky and, well, crap.
I would rather it be called Mario Kart Wii, than MArio Kart 8
Your point fails.
As for being called "Mario Kart Wii". Well what's the problem there? Mario Kart 64 had "64" tacked on the end (as did many N64 games), so why is it suddenly a problem if the console's name is in the title? Honestly, who cares?
Mario Party had numbers, but they had multiple games per system, and it sucks more than Mario Kart.
And Mario Kart has usually had the system name after it. The only one I know of that doesn't is Double Dash.
It's just Nintendo's style. Anyways, I like the box art, very 'Wii-like' as someone mentioned.
