PSN to SEN: Time to rage quit? - DarkFeed

I'm sure we're all fed up with the negative attention video games have been receiving from the media over the last few days in response to the North Illinois University incident. From Jack Thompson to state legislators, gamers just don't seem to be getting a break. Well, it's time to add one more person to the list: Dr. Michael Rich, who seems to be concerned about the Wii's physical involvement with violent games.
And now technology is taking the violence one step further. The Nintendo Wii system that has been praised for getting players more physically involved in games like bowling and golf now has teenagers acting out virtual murders.
When armed with a knife, players actionably have to move their arms in a stabbing motion.

Still I doubt the extent of the significance.
I didn't even know about this. :S
Honestly this makes it sound like 99% of games are STAB STAB STAB, KILL KILL KILL, freakin have a bath in blood! Ok so that might be a tad over the top but it's not far off. I want opinions of people who know the topic well, both sides of it, not just random clueless (and probably biased) opinions.
Anyways, just because you see someone shoot a guy in a video game, SURE ain't a good escuse to go do it in the real world.
The 360 probably has more violent games then the wii, but no game will convince kids to go outside and start shooting Headcrabs and Police because "the game told them to"
im more deterred by the 'lol youre gay as hell' motion
if kids want to practice stabbing someone theyll probably.. i dont know.. stab someone. but that doesn't make money
