Jack Attack: NIU Lawsuit Threat

Avalith | February 18, 2008 | News | Misc
First he gets on the air with FOX News about NIU. Then his lies while on the air are debunked by Kotaku. Finally, GamePolitics decided to confront Jack about NIU.

...Well, maybe not so finally. Jack Thompson has sent GamePolitics an e-mail stating that if he doesn't get information on Kazmierczak’s gaming history, he'll file a lawsuit. Typical Thompson behavior: Make a lawsuit threat even though he's never actually won one in order to try and get his way. Nothing surprising here, really, although he claims to have gotten a prompt, professional response from NIU. Knowing Thompson, however, a "professional" response has many possible varieties.
The Northern Illinois University campus is still reeling from Thursday’s rampage shooting by an apparently deranged 27-year-old man.

But that hasn’t stopped anti-game violence activist Jack Thompson from threatening NIU with a lawsuit. Over video games.

Honestly, even though it makes games/gamers look worse, can we just shoot him in the head or give him a lethal injection or at the very least, cut out his tongue and cut off his fingers so he can't communicate? This is exactly like the VT shooting, just attack freaking games, you know...don't really give a shit that people DIED and got HURT or anything, just use this to attack games.

"I'mma gonna file a lawsuit against you."
I guess GamePolitics has only one answer to that: "Bring it on then."
They will win against this pathetic loser anyway.

I would put him in jail for life and allow him to live the rest of his days in bars. Cause he's disrupting the peace with his BS.
