The first exclusive piece of downloadable content for the 360 version of Grand Theft Auto IV will be released August. It is titled Grand Theft Auto IV: Episode One.

In its GDC keynote extravaganza, Microsoft confirmed that the first downloadable "episode" for GTA IV will be coming this August, exclusively to Xbox 360.

Grand Theft Auto IV: Episode One, as it's being called, is presumably the first in the previously announced two downloadable episodes for Rockstar's sequel. They've been rumoured to have cost Microsoft a fair few pennies too.

Awesome, didn't even know that this would have DL content

I think i'm hyping this more than SSBB now.

I hope it ends up like Half Life: Episode One in terms of length and gameplay. That would really make it worthwhile.

From DLC? That would be great, but now I need to find a way to make space on the HD in case it's true.

I honestly don't see how it could bring to the table what HL Episode 1 brought to the table. I mean it's going to take place in the same city and I'm sure not be too large a departure from what the normal missions are that are available throughout the game.

Rumored???? Wasn't it stated ages ago that it cost them $50 (Or $25?) Million?

Yeah, I'll miss out on the content, I'll be annoyed at that, but whatever, can't do much about that >_> Well, OK, I could get the 360 version, but then I couldn't get online co-op since I don't have GOLD and have no intention of ever getting it >_>

Wonder if they're going to try to land the dlc near the Saints Row 2 release date?
