Wifi PSP Playstation Store promised

It used to be that you would have to hook your PSP up to either a Playstation 3 or a PC to visit the PSP's Playstation Store.

Well, with the PS3, all you have to do is press the Playstation Store button under the network tab of the Cross Media Bar. Sony is finally getting ready to implement this into the PSP.
Chris Eden from Sony Computer Entertainment made mention of PLAYSTATION Store on PSP in his Game Developers Conference session. Currently, players must use a PC in order to download content and transfer it to the PSP. Going forward, PSP fans will be able to download games directly to their systems from within the PSP itself. "Access native PLAYSTATION Store on PSP via wireless hotspot," the slide notes. "Purchase and download content direct to PSP (no USB cable)." Launch is currently "TBA." More details are promised for the future. Let's hope we don't have to wait too long.

This will be great. I was just wondering about this the other day, as I was able to download some stuff like the Warhammer, Loco Roco, and Socom demos with my PSP but Patapon I had to find in the PSN store. This will help clear up the confusion on where to get the latest PSP downloads.

Nope, doesn't work. You always get this message:

"This site is designed for access from a personal comuter. Please use a PC to access this site."

So I'm looking forward to Sony making it accessible through the PSP, it'll be much easier for me to download stuff since I have a Mac.

Yeah I tried it last night and it didn't work. There IS a PSP homepage that allows you limited downloads, but they stopped updating it months ago.

I DONT WANT THIS until they fix the bug that stops you from downloading games to your PSP if you deactivate it to move it to another account
