EVE Online Economic 2nd Quarterly Newsletter Released

JelalTrueshot | February 21, 2008 | News | PC
EVE Online is an amazing example of art imitating life. The player-run economy is, perhaps, one of the worlds last true free-market systems. EVE Online itself is a space-based MMO where thousands of players co-exist on one server. The newsletter chronicles the current state of the economy's affairs, including total players/ship/item counts, cash-flow, and even a 'primary producer index'.
Official Release:
EVE Online fans live in an epic struggle to out-produce, out-purchase and out-procure their bitterest rivals in a mind-staggeringly massive universe. The sheer vastness of the in-game economy that fuels these wars leaves players thirsty for whatever information can lead them to smarter in-game business decisions, often making or breaking corporations.

Following the well-received first edition of the quarterly newsletter that was released in November 2007, the current QEN explores the distribution of pilots, price levels, and how to measure economic activity in EVE. The Q4 edition naturally focuses on the economic impact of the large influx of players brought by the highly-successful Trinity expansion.
