This may be one of the few 'extension type' games to have been released in Japan that is actually coming over to the US, yet it's true. Persona 3: FES, an extension to the original game, with more Persona, a new weapon synthesis system and a harder difficulty setting. With Persona 3 already hard to find, this game'll make the perfect substitute since it has everything that P3 has and more.

So what’s the big deal about Persona 3 FES? “FES” is short for “Festival,” and in Japan, FES was released as a reward for gamers who picked up the original. Not only does the new FES content enhance the original game, but the new FES component is actually a game in and of itself, accessible right from the get-go. We think of it as two games on one disc. It is the definitive Persona 3 experience.

I just bought Persona 3 last week for $75 on E-bay..........I knew this was gonna happen damn it!!!! Grrrrrr.......I hope that there are elements that enhance the original, and not just include the original. It's a bit confusing as to how it will be owning Persona 3 Vs. Not.

FES was originally an Append disc which held additional content for those who had the game, along with an extension to the story, along with the true ending for Persona 3. Atlus is releasing the standalone version.

DAMNIT. I just bought a USED copy of the original for $80...

I HOPE they release just the append version for cheap because I'll be pissed if I have to re-buy a game that I just bought so I can get the FES stuff...

Yeah, I heard this a while ago, I'm interested in it, because both Persona is known for being a good series, and it is cheap, with extra content...

I don't have a job now though >_> I hope the copies circulate for a long time, so I don't miss out >_>
