So we've already heard of the possible June 12th release date for Metal Gear Solid 4, but what you may not know is that if you preorder MGS4, you'll have guaranteed entry into the Metal Gear Online beta set to hit late April.

The title says it all. Those who preorder Metal Gear Solid 4 will have guaranteed access into the multiplayer beta test of Metal Gear Online, which starts in late April. MGS4 comes bundled with a basic “Starter Pack” for Metal Gear Online, and now MGS fans can test out the game themselves before official release. I guess I’ll reserve it when I go to pick up GOW: Chains of Olympus.

I remember how excited I was when I heard there was going to be a beta test for MGO way back when, and then my disappointment when I discovered the websites that broke the news forgot to mention it was for Japan only. Now at least I’ll be able to play a more final build of the game. I just hope it won’t interfere too much with my Grand Theft Auto IV time.
