Following the announcement of Metal Gear Solid 4's release date, Konami have confirmed that the title will be releasing simultaneously in all regions worldwide. Metal Gear Solid 4 will be sneaking onto PlayStation 3 game systems June 12th 2008.

Konami has officially confirmed what it has long promised; June 12 will not only see the game hit shelves in North America, but also the rest of the world. This will come as a relief to European gamers in particular, who have had to wait six months to a year after the US release of recent MGS games to get their hands (officially, at least) on Solid Snake.

Yeah, it's about time Europeans will not get last place with the release.
Although, we did get extra stuff with it because of the long wait, though....
Maybe that's why they delay it until June, so that everyone else is also getting extra stuff as Europe did, I'm hoping for something like that movie scene thing MGS3 had, where you could see all of the cutscenes.

Funnily enough, this news is what will prompt me to purchase my PlayStation 3 in June too. I've been waiting on decent exclusives and the DualShock 3.

It's sweet that everyone gets to enjoy it at the same time. I always felt bad that the Europeans got everything later. It's good that Konami and Kojima Productions decided to do this.

Yeah, but I cant help but feel us Aussies are gonna get screwed somehow.. A store that sells games is still advertising the "upcoming release" Of No More Heroes On February 19th.. Despite the fact that:

    A: Its March 2nd.
B: It comes out here on march 13th.
