The recent issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly writes that Kojima Productions is using SIXAXIS' motion controls sparingly, to spice up the gameplay here and there, and not outstaying its welcome. Kojima's Payton also says the PS3's motion controls were over hyped.
Kojima has chosen to take the less is more approach in Metal Gear Solid 4, and has even removed motion controls from several places where they were previously planned, like maneuvering Snakes Mk. II robot for example.

The option of SIXAXIS should be exactly that, an option that can be toggled on and off.
Like I said before. I would like sixaxis to be in but only if it is possible to turn it off. It would be cool if its like in Heavenly Sword where you can control the bullets (like sniper rifles or etc..)
I'm sure there will put the sixaxis into some good use one way or another.
