Nintendo has released just one retro title for the Virtual Console service in North America this week, Factor 5's Super Nintendo run-and-gun effort, Super Turrican - a snip at 800 Wii Points.

We imagine that Nintendo is being deliberately tight-fisted with its North American Virtual Console selection this week, considering that consumers Stateside will be able to get their hands on Super Smash Bros. Brawl this coming Sunday… Or perhaps not, but we can’t imagine any other reason for only offering one new title this week. Sadly it isn’t Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 64, but the far-from-shabby Factor 5 effort, Super Turrican, originally released for the Super Nintendo.
