Razer has been teasing us with its Speed of the Light flash site over the last week. Now, with the countdown finished, they have announced the Razer Salmosa gaming mouse. It looks to be a more budget-minded mouse but sports a 1800dpi infra red sensor and a Lachesis-like body.

Features:
* 1800dpi Razer Precision™ 3G infrared sensor
* 1000Hz Ultrapolling / 1ms response time
* Mechanical dpi/polling rate switches
* On-The-Fly Sensitivity™ adjustment
* Always-On™ mode
* Ultra-large non-slip buttons

    The overall look is budget based, 3 primary buttons and a universal design for lefties or righties, I'd rather they go the G3 route and offer the extra buttons so people actually have some features but meh I guess it's not a priority for them.

    Given the rest of the design it's no different than the Deathadder on paper.

    True, the sensor looks the same. It is their next 'budget' mouse. They tried once before with the Diamonback 3G to mixed results so hopefully this one will be better.

    No way I'm buying it. No extra programmable buttons. >_>
