If you may recall, Jack Thompson was all for helping EA take over Take Two. Well, EA just basically gave him the nicest "SCREW OFF" they could have. Their letter to Jack(ass) Thompson is below:

We have received your letter to EA's shareholder site. In response to your offer to assist in the proposed acquisition of Take-Two, we would strongly prefer that you not get involved in this matter. EA is a strong supporter of creative freedom for game developers. We feel that your past statements - including false claims about content in our games - make any collaboration with you impossible.

Smart move, gets on everyone's good side. Then again, it's not like making a statement about accepting's Jack's assistance would've made anything to tip to their side.

It is basically just a nicely worded "*bleep* off" as Gutic said. I don't think JT expected them to accept. Just an easy way to get more publicity.

Good on ya EA. Serves him right for getting ants in his pants and kicking up a big fuss over things and blaming games for violence and rape and blaming bill gates for the Virginia shootings and for giving little boys anal.

    LOL! Yeah, good job EA!
Did he really think EA would let him Co-operate with them, after he was first against them?

EA's practically speaking for all of us. Thank you, EA, thank you.

I may have not liked this company that much due to some of their games, but this and Army of Two have restored my faith in them.

Screw off, that guy sounds *bleep*ed.
Why didn't they just write "SCREW OFF" instead of a whole letter?
